This week’s blog post focuses on one of our local vendors – the Red Pinecone Gift Boutique at 114 NW Minnesota Avenue in Bend, Oregon.
Owner Kat Reese contacted us earlier this year about her interest in selling Sunriver Metal Works’ products in her store. She knew that Bendy Dog (our other downtown vendor and Kat’s next door neighbor) was selling our dog breed leash holders created especially for the store. Kat sells gifts, jewelry, art, and home decor and thought our metal work would fit perfectly in her store. In fact, we’re having a hard time keeping inventory in stock!

We really appreciate having local vendors of our products. Since the majority of our current business is on-line custom work, it’s nice to have our name out there in the Bend area.

Kat has a great variety of fun products. We’ve even created speciality items just for her. She carries our Oregon Scene Wall Art. A customer commented that it would be great if we had one featuring a mountain bike. Voila! We created the Oregon Bike Scene Wall Art just for her store! We can also personalize any of the items found in the shop or on our website. All you have to do is ask!
New Inventory!
We stopped in today to deliver new inventory and take a look at her new items. She just got a new shipment of her custom Silipints with the Bend Logo and bike. Mike had to pick up a new one!
1st Friday Art Walk
If you’re in Bend, stop in to see Kat at the Red Pinecone. She’s got a wonderful selection of items. It’s a great shop! Bend has a great mix of small boutique shops and restaurants. The majority of the businesses carry work from local vendors. Their 1st Friday Art Walk is always a fun way to get to know the shops on an informal basis. The next one will be August 5th.
