We have retired in Arizona and appreciate your support over the years. Stay tuned for our new creative adventures! – Mike & Pat

Sign Sign Everywhere A Sign!  The sign theme is continuing in our work at Sunriver Metal Works!

Volunteer Awards

Mike’s daughter, Courtney, has been working at Eastern Oregon’s radio station KEOL 91.7 FM.  Mostly a volunteer staff of college students and local community members, they recently celebrated 40 years of independent music during La Grande Crazy Days.  They asked us to make a sign to thank Rory Noble for all the hours he has put in at the station.  We had a name and a general idea of what they wanted to include on the sign.  This is what we came up with.

We weren’t at the celebration, but understand that he really liked his gift.  That’s one of the things we love about the work we do at Sunriver Metal Works.  Taking an idea and making something special for someone, whatever the subject matter is, always gives us a challenge and a reward.

Artist Appreciation

KEOL also asked us to create a special sign for a guitarist who was to perform at the celebration.  Mike Surber has supported the station over the years, and they wanted to thank him for his dedication.  We had a name and knew they wanted to depict his passion – the guitar.

The KEOL staff presented the guitar to Mike during his performance.  After the band’s performance, he did an extra set for the crowd with his new guitar sitting next to him on the stage.  We love hearing from our customers after they receive our work.  That’s what makes our job so enjoyable and never a chore.

So, is there someone special you would like to have a unique gift made for?  Let us STEEL your idea!
