During my 30 years working in information technology, I never felt as inadequate as I feel right now. Choosing to remove myself from the ever changing computer world after I retired was (in hindsight) not the smartest move. I’m now playing catch-up to the NEW way of doing business. I DO want our business to succeed and I DO realize that connecting with people today does include social media. It’s frustrating trying to get everything hooked together properly and understand the best ways to communicate with people. We’re working on it!
We believe that our business is the perfect blend for us as partners. We each bring our unique perspective and talents into Sunriver Metal Works and truly enjoy the creative process. Mike used a computer very little before 2 years ago when he got his first email account. He now uses several programs to go from jpeg files to the final cutout image. It’s great to get the website going and get pictures of our finished products out there for people to see, pin, and like. We’re taking baby steps in getting all this done. Be patient with us as we work towards an e-commerce site and figure out how all this works.
