What’s happening at Sunriver Metal Works this week? Getting ready for custom metal art shows in the area, that’s what! Mike’s out in the shop and I’m sitting here at the computer working on getting all of our images re-sized. It’s tedious for both parties at times. Mike just told me that he has 40 pieces of steel polished and ready to patina. There’s at least that many waiting to be polished.
Colonoscopy For Two
First, we’re just having a super day. We’ve been on a clear liquid diet (I don’t think that includes vodka) today and tomorrow (until about 3:00 pm). As part of the aging process, we all get to have fun screening procedures done. We get to have one of those done tomorrow. So, we may be just a little grumpy today. 🙂 And, the snow is supposed to start later this afternoon. We were down to 12 degrees last night and may have 3 to 6 inches through tomorrow.
Custom Metal Art Shows Coming Up
Getting ready for two custom metal art shows right now. The Traditions at Sunriver Lodge is Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving. We had a very good show last year and are looking forward to the show this year. We also will have items at the Sisters Lions Club Holiday Faire in Sisters during the month of December. We’re supposed to set up for that show on November 23, and it opens Thanksgiving weekend.
We’ve got some new items we’ll be selling at both venues. Can’t wait to see the response we get from them. We’ll post some previews on Facebook as we get closer to the show.
Finally, hard to believe Christmas is right around the corner!
