Snow presents challenges

For anyone who has seen our Facebook posts over the last two weeks, you know we’ve been doing a significant amount of snow removal.  Over the last 3 weeks (starting with our power outage), we received nearly 4 feet of snow.  Check out this photo of our Snow Gauge Marker taken after the first snow at Thanksgiving.  Only the snow flake top is visible right now.  Along with this, we’ve been working to satisfy all of our customer’s custom metal work orders for a Merry Christmas.  We’re kinda tired right now.

Sorry if it sounds like we’re whining.  Those are the breaks of owning your own small business.  Just trying to get it all done.

Work and Family

This morning finds us working on new custom orders, getting Christmas photos ready to add to the catalog, and preparing for a visit from Mike’s daughter and boyfriend.

We had a good laugh last night.  One of our customers had just opened his shipped package.  Here’s what he said:

“I picked  up the wall art a few days ago.  My thanks  to the person who packed it, excellent job!  Had a look at it today, I am impressed.  I think my wife will enjoy it very much.  Thanks again Pat and Merrry Xmas to you and your family and all the staff at Sunriver Metalworks.”

All of the “Staff” appreciates his kind remarks.  We love to hear from our customers and know that they are truly happy with their purchases.  It’s really what keeps us going from day to day.

We look forward to a New Year and the opportunities it brings.  We also look forward to taking a little more time to enjoy beautiful Central Oregon!  Merry Christmas!
